Pros and Cons? I just ordered it yesterday. I wanted a much lower loft from my 10.5* that I have now, because I pop it up too consistently, and it'll go about 50 yards.

I liked the Hibore a lot. I was demoing it in 9 degrees I believe. I went with the Cobra because I found it a bit more forgiving, but really liked the Hibore.

pro's: the ball flies pretty well, also the sound is not overwhelming

cons: I couldnt get past the crown, I felt the shape was distracting

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news however less loft won't stop you "popping" it up and hitting the ball 50 yards. "Pop Up's" are caused by making contact with the ball with the leading top edge of your club and more or less loft won't change a thing.

pros - better ball flight on a lower loft club that can work when you hit it
cons - the lower the loft...the more compacted the effects are when you hit the ball with the wrong swing.
so if your slight hook or slice is evident on a 10.5, it's much worse the lower in degree you go.
if you're hitting the ball and skying it, try moving it forward in your stance by 1 ball. you'll be surprised what that change does for your timing...
