I guess I was thinking of doing this in a poll, but everyone here probably has someone to name so I am going to just leave it as is. This can be any pro on any tour, but please give good reasons.

My Top 5 Picks

5. Aaron Baddeley - Young man with a mental toughness about him that makes him a very strong player, though he has been somewhat of a disappointment in the past couple of years. I would love to see him doing well again like he almost did at Oakmont.

4. Anthony Kim - Maybe it's the hype or the two great wins this year that have me talking or the great swing and competitive nature, but this guy can play, and he will win them, the question is when.

3. Adam Scott - Fun player to watch. He rarely has a break in his concentration on the course and can play the heck out of the ball. His spark in the tournament earlier this year made me believe in him again.

2. Justin Rose - I hope other Americans are taking notice of this great young player. He has proven himself on both tours, earning the Order of Merit on the European Tour and has been a constant contender at the majors. His Masters final round and my real #1 kept him out of that spot.

1. Sergio Garcia - What is there to be said about the man. He is destined to win, but he gets emotional and that has been his downfall. Not to mention a faulty putter at times, but in my eyes I believe that he is the best without a major. Sergio can do it. Sergio deserves to achieve it. It is a matter of time, but when he does get one, the others will soon follow, and the dream will be realized.

These are my picks, and I'm sure there are critiques, but these are, in my eyes, the most talented, most capable, and most able (age-wise) to grab a major, yet haven't.

Sergio Garcia hands down. At least he was the bookies favorite for this year's British Open. He has got to win here soon....

I would say sergio is the best player without a major but i am going to guess if anthony kim keeps going at the rate he is not he will win one before sergio does

A lot of great players have already been mentioned. In my view, a lot of them are the best current players without a major, although I can't pick who's the best;

Sergio Garcia, Adam Scott, Anthony Kim, and a few others...

I think that Adam Scott is hands down the BPWM at the moment. He has a great temperament and one of the most technically perfect swings you'll ever see. With a little more experience and a little improvment with the putter I think it is only a matter of time for him. I also like Sergio but only if he finally gets that putter figured out as well continued maturation.

I also think that Anthony Kim is going to get there within the next few years. I really like how he closed the deal at two storied courses, Quail Hollow and Congressional, and if you can win at those two courses you must be pretty good.
