The front runners are going to be Golf Digest and Golf Magazine.

If you want a golf magazine, i'd recommend just getting them both. Subscriptions are cheap nowadays...you can get a year for like 10 dollars. I cant really say one is better than the other....however...you can find a lot of their tips posted on their respective websites.

For the beginner, I'd suggest "Golf Tips Magazine." I think it has more instruction than "Golf Digest" or "Golf Magazine."
