Hi everyone !

Just joining this pretty cool forum after months of reading...

Been playing since 86, somewhere around 4 for the past couple of years, playing mostly here around Paris...
But prefer the rounds I had the chance to play during my numerous visits in California...season is way longer there & I guess I'd rather be living there, at least for pushing that little white ball...

If any of you has any questions about golf over here in France, I'd be delighted to provide some help..if I can..

Take it eass !

Welcome, wish you were around Mulhouse, I'll be over there late Sept. for work. Kinda hoping to sneak out to the course at least once.

    • Flying into ATL on Sept 11 (Thu), early, leaving Sept 15 (Mon), late. Dates are fixed. Trying to hit the best RTJ Trail stops without spending half the trip in the car.   Plan: Thu: Grand National (Lake or Links) Fri: GN AM, then drive to Capitol Hill, play Senator Sat: Capitol Hill – Judge Sun: Ross Bridge Mon: Oxmoor Ridge early, drive to ATL   Thinking about squeezing in Cambrian Ridge after Capitol Hill—worth it or too much? Would love any feedback or tips from those who’ve done it.
    • Day 73 (13 Jul 25) (note: forgot to post the "day" for the past few days, up to day 73) - Easy day in the backyard, with time on the 50deg wedge and the mat (simulating tight lies around the green) working on low spinners.  Love using this mat as it is small and portable but also lends to being a type of alignment rod to get a proper setup.  Finished up with a few swings with the 54.
    • Congrats on the new leg of your journey - the challenge of learning something new while dealing with Parkinson’s is totally awesome.
    • Played several holes today with my Buddy's left haded clubs.  I was going to order just woods, but after playing again today and hitting the irons well, I will be ordering a complet set of Left handed Clubs.    They are Callaway Edge, Regular flex.  I am excited !  Will let you know after I try them and let you know how well they performed.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • Depends in part on what lie the greens crew left me. If it's first cut of rough or fairway and clear shot to cup, it's an 8i chip and run. If it's shaggy, or I have to go over ridge or bunker, it's a cut shot with a 58* LW.
