What are you thoughts on lynx clubs? I am looking at their hybrid iron set. Are they a good bang for the buck!

Driver- Snake Eyes 600T 11.5 Graphite Reg.
Woods- 3 & 5 Lynx Predator Graphite Reg.
Irons- 3-P Diawa Graphite Reg.
Putter- Ping Karsten (an old one)
Sandwedge- Console SteelBall- Whatever I can get my hands on Bag- Taylormade Stand Bag

My friend who is a high handicapper has a set and he seems to be pretty happy with them. I haven't hit that brand personally, but if money is an major issue in your decision I think you will get a lot of bang for your buck.

I'd recommend sticking with the major manufacturers. Although the clubs may look similar, the major manufacturers do a better job with consistency in their product as well as taking advantage of the technology. Although Wal-Mart peanut butter is ..i believe.... Peter Pan peanut butter just in different packaging (i dont recall if thats the actual company they are going with now..but its something along those lines)...either way...the same situation isnt going on in golf equipment.

My dad has two woods 3 and 5 which I used and they are decent. My feeling is that they are decent clubs but major brands are better.

      Day 47: simulator day! Played St. Andrew’s and shot a +1. Not bad, especially with having to putt at this simulator set up. Had about 5 minutes at the end to work on some feels as well.

      I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.

      So the question was posed today by some of my friends.  Is a pitch mark the same as a divot?  I thought NO, but they argued if your ball lands in another player's divot (made by club during a swing) this was the same as a pitch mark, i.e. the ball mark made when the ball lands
