Katherine Hull is THE story on the LPGA

Before the Canadian Open began, people talked about various players---the obvious ones----Annika, Lorena, Paula, Suzann, Natalie, Michelle, etc. And NOW, the story of the week is Katherine making up a 6 shot deficit, and beating an elite field. She has spent five years working to get to the winners' circle and now she is there!! Congratulations to ANOTHER first time winner in 2008!!

It is interesting that she is from Australia, and the first from that country since Karrie Webb to win a big tournament. Correct me if I am wrong, but Australia has many more men on the PGA Tour than the LPGA Tour, where the Japanese, and South Koreans are very strong.
