What are your opinions of the company who sponsors many world class Badmitton players?

I feel this company flies low under the radar... a few years back they had some nice driver releases with big price tags but now are relatively affordable.

Anyone here actually playing any Yonex clubs... I believe a majority of them are made in Japan

Never tried their clubs but I used their tennis racquets and they are top notch quality and design. I wouldn't mind playing their clubs.

They make a gunmetal wedge that I might bite the bullet on... only problem is they are a little older so its hard to find a seller who offers a good selection of lofts

I need a 54 or 56, and a 60... I could go without a gap wedge since I dont hit my current on very much

Yonex (according to their own people) spend most of their R&D; on tennis and badmitton equipment. Years ago, they made some really great clubs. I believe they are manufactured in the same plant as Wilson.(IIRC.) I have hit that exact wedge that you are talking about. It is a gorgeous (i mean absolutely gorgeous) club, but to me, it cannot compare to Vokey, Cleveland, or Callaway wedges that are out right now.

My brother plays with a Yonex hybrid and boy did I underestimate that club. Has a very nice feel to and can get some really good distance.
