It will be interesting to see if her skill can translate to the LPGA. I think I'll go with "yes".
Hurst Sets Duramed Future's Tour Single Season Earnings Record Four-time tournament winner Vicky Hurst made Duramed FUTURES Tour history with her runner-up finish at The Gettysburg Championship last week. The rookie's performance was good enough for $10,000 and the single-season earnings record of $88,472. Following the ILOVENY Championship in Albany, N.Y., Sept. 5-7, Hurst will officially receive her 2009 LPGA Tour card based on her top finish on the Duramed FUTURES Tour season money list. The top-10 on the 2008 Duramed FUTURES Tour money list will receive 2009 LPGA Tour membership. Hurst shattered Tour alum Beth Bauer's single-season earnings mark of $81,529, set in 2001 on the strength of four wins and 16 top-10 finishes in 19 events. The Gettysburg Championship was Hurst's 12th event of the season and she has recorded eight top-10 finishes.

I think she'll do quite well. Plus I'm really hoping she does, there needs to be more American girls that can compete with the mass amount of Asians on the tour.

Don't like to put a "Can't-Miss" tag on anyone (remember Clint Hurdle with the Royals?). Beth Bauer actually had a decent rookie year on the LPGA Tour (beating out Natalie Gulbis for Rookie-of the-Year) but never was a force on the tour (her best ever finish was 2nd in her rookie year; her next best was a 5th the next year). Currently she is back on the Futures Tour.

I always hope for the best for the young players on either tour but most of the time they don't pan out. Anyone remember Bobby Clampett (he was going to take over as "The" player after Watson). I hope she does well though.
