I had to borrow a playing partners club on friday to hit a shot that could only realistically be attempted by a righty( he graciously accepted my request).

That got me to thinking that a few years ago, barring the number of clubs bag restrictions, I used to carry a lefty 5 iron at times when I was playing righty for those shots you needed to take from the other side.

What would you carry and why?

BTW, I hit a righty 5w punch shot that would make most righty's drool 1 putted the result

I'd carry a Lefty 4 Iron if I had too, if I was ever in that kind of odd situation, most likely the logical play would be a punch. So ya, a 4 Iron.

If I had enough room for another club... it would be another wedge. I think I only had the need for one left handed shot this year... but I definately needed another wedge numerous times.

I just flip over a wedge or something and hit lefty if need be. Usually if you need to hit opposite and can just get the ball away from where it was so you can hit it again, you're doing pretty good. I practiced the shot several times on the range to get the hang of it and I'm pretty confident I could pull it off I needed to.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

I lent my baby to a playing partner this afternoon (a right in a very bizarre location)

Poor fella did not do so good but was glad to have a lefty with him :)

No way I could hit a four iron solid Left-Handed - so probably a high iron or wedge.
