Couple questions about clubs

I am relatively new to the sport and have a couple questions.

1. Regular vs Stiff in the irons: Is there that much difference between the two? My swing speed is right around 100-102. Would I be able to tell a difference if I went with regular vs flex?

2. Rescue/hybrid clubs: Some are numbered some are degree's. If I wanted something to replace my 3 or 4 iron would that be a 19 or 21 degree club? Also looking at Titleist fairway woods, what degree would be equivalent of a typical 3 wood? 15 degrees?

At that swing speed, you should be looking at stiff shafts most likely.
If you were to replace your 3 and 4 iron, take a look at the manufacturer website and see what lofts they have. Some companies are a little different.
And most 3 woods are 15 degrees.

In reference to the woods, I would probably try out a few different woods, as Titleist clubs are most suited to better players. You may try them and hit them fine, but don't throw your money around without trying them first.

I hear you. I have been hitting the Mizuno MP600 driver and the Mizuno F60 15 3 wood for the past couple weeks. I like the 3 wood a lot, but not sold on the MP600. Before that some old Big Bertha's which I didn't really care for.

Got any recommendations for woods?
