Well I'm fairly new to golf and to The Sand Trap. I started golfing last summer and its great. I live in Iowa so not to much golfing going on here but I hope to hit it hard this spring. I hope to get some good tips to help me improve my game.

As I've told people in the past, you have definitely come to the right place to learn some stuff about golf.

There are some great members here, and we will all do our best to make you feel welcome. Let us know if you need any help with anything, and I'm sure someone will be able to give some insight.

By the way, I'll be staying in Iowa this summer. My wife and I are heading up to the College World Series in late-June, and we are staying right across the Iowa line in Council Bluffs. Are there some good golf courses up there?

I don't know about the golf courses I live on the other side of the state in Davenport. I'm sure there are.
