Rescue club the same as a Hybrid

Are they the same thing with just a different name? I thought so, but my mom swears they aren't. Can someone enlighten me?

Yes. A "Rescue" club is a hybrid iron. It's the name of Taylormade's hybrid offering. Just like Callaway's "heavenwood"

Thats what I thought man. Don't you hate when people try to tell you one thing but you know its wrong? Especially hard when its your mom! They know it all!

They are the same thing. Taylormade was one of the first to make a hybrid and they called them a "rescue" wood/club.
