I just had to share my excitement because my new odyssey black series i#1 came in today. this putter is so cool. First of all, it's gorgeous to look at. Nice, squared off and clean. The insert is pretty sweet. Definitely firmer than the white hot xg and tour inserts. It's not a loud insert but I kind of like that, gets me swinging through the ball without a stopping hesitation. Testing this baby out on the practice green, I was just putting all these balls in the hole, never seen so many go down before. Before this putter, I was using a cheap affinity one but it felt great and I figured, my missed puts were mostly from a bad setup. I didn't realize that these researched putters gave so much more forgiveness. Just like before I picked up my r7 driver, I thought a club was a club, and then I played with a taylormade for one round and I was reborn. But back to the putter. The weight of it is another big feature. The tungsen weighting definitely helps out a lot and gets the ball rolling and rolling on line. I did try the black series milled and noticed it felt lighter which I didn't like so much. Well, anyways, fantastic putter. I'm excited to see how it's gonna help me get that ball to the hole.

Sweet.

Good luck with the new wand.

I like the firmer inserts better, too.
