I play regular driver 3w and 3h, but I am definately in the SS for stiff, i just have a good tempo. My typical driver miss is a cut, which i hate, because i need as much distance as i can get and it seems like i dont have as much control as i would like. I can hit it 270 sometimes on a good hit, but don't feel comfortable swing the club in the way that would produce that shot. So my question is where can i go to try different shafts on the same heads, and where and how much will it be for whatever shaft anyone recommends with the cost of adding a GP new decade please. Thanks!

I suppose you could see when a club manuf. is having "demo day" at a course near you or you can check around at some of the local pro-shops...many of them will let you demo different sticks on the course while you are playing.

I demo'd some of my stuff at a course to see what I thought. You can sure narrow down the different shafts and flexes.

Good luck.

Not too sure about that....I would imagine that they would order the stick from the manf. with your shaft selection (among their available offerings).

In my case....I had three choices and then different flexes to select. I was able to narrow it down nicely by hitting the various sticks they had.

You are doing yourself a huge service.........so much is dependant on the shaft.

Yeah that what I'm thinking, Even at my current level, I could probably drop 3 strokes a round if my driving becomes more accurate/ slightly longer. I was close to driving 4 par 4s at a recent course. 3 yards on the fridge on one! It was only like 310 though. I got some good roll.
