I have a problem with my hands - the skin is very sensitive. This is a recent development (3 years or so). I have to wear two gloves and keep them on all round, including putting. I prefer playing without but I have no choice.

Even while putting? It feels weird for me to have the glove on while putting. Although I don't think it has a huge effect on my putts.

Tried hitting a few shots without the glove today. Driver was fine but shanked a few with the irons. I think its due to the fact that my driver has a new grip and the iron grips are a bit older.

I'm with you wrx. My irons tend to slip a little without a glove, but feel solid with a glove. Its all personal preference...use one if it helps you, and if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Latex allergy?? Cracked, itchy skin? Wear gloves a lot for work (laboratory) and around here we're moving away from genuine rubber (latex-based) as people can develop an allergy against the latex protein. Might want to investigate if you can get non-latex based grips if you like playing without a glove.

As for me, I have periods wearing and periods not; currently I am. I'm not sure it helps much and I find they're worse in rain than bare skin.
