I have always preferred playing in the afternoon but I have performed good teeing off early in the morning! I think it is all psychological and the weather certainly has a major influence!

Rain, cold, windy - I certainly don't want to be getting out of bed early so I would rather give it a chance to improve later in the day!!

In my bag:

Mid-to late day is perfect.
Everything seems to be dry and crisp
not to many people begin late, there usually on the last few holes
Plus im awake, but i get a good nights sleep afterwards depending on ho many holes i play
Awsome seeing sunsets on the course!

Taylormade RBZ Driver, 3w, 3h
Cobra Amp Cell Irons 4i-pw
Vokey Wedges, 52,56,60

Scotty Cameron Putter

I want to tee-off whenever I can finish about 30 minutes before sundown. Its the best time to be on the course, IMHO.

WITB - about 15lbs. of clubs, a few balls, tees, and a windbreaker

Isn't that the best. You finish a round, get home and still have time with the family, or even the driving range. If I do very poorly on a course I immediately follow it up with a round at the range, I find it helps, at least somewhat helps.

Any tee time is great, something about having a tee time just makes you feel good, but if I had to pick my fav...I would go with 1:00 p.m.

Driver: Tour Burner
3wood: speed ld
Hybrid: Slingshot
Irons: AP2
Putter: Rossa monte carlo 7

I definatly preffer morning tee offs becuase you it isn't nearly dark by the time you get to the 18th hole which means if i slice you to the right i can't be asked to look for it. Also if i tee off in the morning i never shoot over my handicapp for soe reason
