Anyone hitting this? I'm going to try one out (draw model) next week. I read that the factory shaft is junk (so thinking about a cut-down V2 for a replacement).

Right now I am hitting an R7 Draw with a stiff shaft, choking up. Good distance, but hard to control the slice without getting the occasional big pull left.

I use the 4DX hybrids (2H/3H) every round I play. I don't think the stock shaft is bad at all -- the 2H is the easiest club for me to hit in the whole bag, and goes an easy 200-210 with an easy swing. If you are specifically referring to the driver, I can't say one way or another, don't know.

OK, well, I have played a couple of rounds with this club. I have problems off the tee, but they are different problems than I have with my R7 Draw. I think, with practice, this club will be better for me.

Straight off, I will sometimes hit a slight draw with this club, which I never EVER did with the R7. Perhaps their method of correction works better with my type of problem. My giant slice shows up with less frequency when I more or less stay in my shot, but if I pull out, it's about the same. It looks like I get more occasional pulls than I did with my R7, but those come from overcorrection for a problem I get from a lack of practice. So, more time at the range, less need to try and correct my balance problems, and fewer pulls. I think I can work with this club. I haven't thought about distance, but, thinking about it now, it's probably similar to what I was hitting. I got to a Par 5 in 2, so it can't be TOO short!

Does anyone else play this club? It was pretty darned cheap, new, off eBay. ($75 + shipping)
