Happy Thanksgiving all!

Happy Thanksgiving to you!! And to your family and friends!! Sometimes, I object to having the holiday referred to as "Turkey Day" because that name can disparage the significance of the day, but you did it in a good spirit. Our family loves Thanksgiving as much as Christmas because of the family gatherings and the excellent food!! While the youngsters love receiving presents at Christmas, we, the BIG people, love gathering for the meal, thanking God at the beginning grace, and spending the day "catching up" on family news. My Mom regarded Thanksgiving as THE Holiday for the family and insisted on preparing the meal with almost no help and spent one week cooking and baking for it. My sisters and their families did not always make it for Christmas to our house or my Mom's but they ALWAYS made it for Thanksgiving--or they would be banished from the family as punishment.
