ping zz-65 to DGS300 swingweight

just bought ping i10's and then i did some work on my swing and my pro says, and i agree with, that i should be playing soming heavier shafts, specifically dynamic gold s300's. my question is what will happen to my swingweight which currently at D0.

According to the True Temper website the DGS300 is weighted at 127 grms

According to the Ping stats the Z65 is 109 grams. You can click on i10 and it gives shafts specs for that model, based on the shaft you have installed

So that's a difference in shafts of 18 grams. I've heard quotes of 7-9 grams in shaft weight equaling 1 swingweight point. So based on that info, you should be looking at a swing weight (up from D0) around D2-D2.5. Sounds like a good swingweight to me.

BTW the Ping link can be used to find out the shaft weight of wedges as well. I think you had a thread on that??? But I can't find it now. You can click under wedges on the left of the page. Then click the shaft option, then click on the tab of your appropriate wedge. You will see a display of the shafts available for that club as well as the specs for those shafts.
