I got new irons (yay!) MP-57s. I plan to use the 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and P. The SW is missing, but I have an R7 CGB that I might keep using. The gap wedge I have is an R7 Draw and I don't want to hit it anymore - the draw bias is giving me trouble (that's why I got new clubs). For the Mizunos, what wedge should I get and what loft (and bounce) to match, say the PW? I don't know the loft of the CGB SW (it's standard). I want to make sure the gap wedge is right in the middle. On another note, are the 3 and 4 irons saleable from that set? I don't see myself hitting them (they're new).

if you want Mizunos at a reasonable price, proshopwarehouse on ebay are unloading the Mizuno MP-T's pretty heavily right now. I've been watching them and they are going for around $25 each. just sayin, if you want affordable ones, might wanna look into those. good luck!

I'd go with a 52ish Mizuno. With it being forged you should be able to tweak it 2 or 3* either way as you see the need. If you get a mid bounce gap wedge you can't really go wrong. If you bend it weak into a strong sandwedge it'll just add more bounce, which would be what you would want from a sandwedge anyway.

BTW I really like the look of the 57s though I have yet to hit them. The 52s are bad too, but I wonder if they aren't really getting away from the MP line with those?
