What are the differences between one shaft and another? As an 18 handicapper, with a medium to fast swing speed, what shaft might suit me?
Would go on a 3 wood i am interested in

Go to golfsmith.com . They have an online fitting resource there try that and see what it tells you. The best is to physically try different shafts. If your driver speed is over 100 look at stiff if not you might want to stick with regular, or firm.
