If I play D4 with my driver, D3 with my fairway wood, and D2 with my irons, what should be the ideal swing weight for a 2 hybrid?

Is it more ideal to match the swing weight of my fairway wood or my irons?

Thanks.

My driver is D4, not sure what my fairway wood is, my hybrids are D2, and my irons are E0 (but I bought irons too long for me so I could choke down like AK does...effective swingweight is probably about D6.)
All of my clubs came stock like that. I like heavier clubs anyway. D2 is fine for a hybrid IMO. I would not want a graphite shafted club with a high swingweight.

I'd go with either D3 or D2, the same as your woods or irons. I wouldn't worry too much about splitting hairs between the two. You would probably never tell the difference in one swing weight. I'd also look for a shaft weight about the same as your fairway wood. But many like a shaft that is more like their irons.

I play D2 in my fairway wood, hybrid and irons. Then I have a D3 on PW/AW, D5 on my SW & D4 my XW.

Good Luck!
