I was just wondering if anyone has any kind of specs on the HiBore XLS Monster driver and the CG-7 and or the CG-7 Tour. Did anything really change with the XLS or the CG Reds and golds? There isn't much of a price difference in them and if I see good things maybe I will have to jump on the new items (ref. tax time new clubs tread)

The new irons look very similar to the Golds / Reds from last year. I used the golds for all of last season and really liked them. Had a GREAT oppty to change to the TM Burner this year so i jumped at it. Don't know if you are looking for new or used, but i think you could find some really good deals on last year's iron models. good luck.

They do look a lot alike. I just wonder if they have anything "new" to them.

as for what I am looking for, 2k limit full set from driver to putter new. could be fun but it's a good cause

When is the XLS Monster going to stop taking on new names. It doesn't look any different than the old models and is getting more out of hand every day

But they play much different.

The original hibore was a piece of crap.
the XL was great. Really great.
but the XLS, was kinda boring. just nothing great about it.

They definetly need the Monster to do something good.

Im very excited that the Monster XLS Tour went back to a 440cc head like the XL Tour. Hopefully a sign that it will perform like the XL Tour.

I have had the opportunity to hit both the new monster and launcher. I found that the launcher was an all around better performer. The launcher has lower spin(for me) and also launches higher. This means more distance.
