Let me tell you a story:
I have always loved the shape of the Scotty cameron Circa 62 #6. I love how the back has a bodacious booty that frames the ball really well. I was looking at putters the other day, and i saw the Ping Karsten B60! It has the same booty type back, that has always helped me line up. I, sadly cannot afford a Cameron at this point in time. I thought, hey, the Ping is only $90, so i'll see iff anyone has anything good to say about it!

(you're the people who are supposed to say good things about it)



Also, im kinda OCD about putters having headcovers, so does anyone know if it comes with one? Also, why is it so cheap compared to other milled putters and other Ping's?

The B60 has been around for years... If memory serves that is the putter that Larry Nelson was using when he made that bomb on 16 at Oakmont in the 1983 U.S. Open... Mr. Solheim was obviously a great innovator and the B60 was and is a great putter... The old stainless steel models used to be under $80

I bought mine last year. It's quality.

Only beef was that the head was a little too light. Lead tape on the bottom of the shaft did the trick. Now it could be my favorite club in the bag.

The headcover is nice, and flashy looking. It's held onto the putter with a magnet; no velcro. Only problem is if you have a 33" like me, the headcover rubs up against the top of my golf bag and knocks it off pretty easily. Must have happened at least 10-15 times on the course. Haven't lost it yet though! Might replace it soon.

Cast club. No insert. Classic (i.e. firm) feel. If that's what you want, you won't be disappointed. I absolutely love the club. Cleveland makes some nice low-price putters as well. But I love PING!

      It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…

      I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
