ProV1

I switch them out every few holes, then they go into the shag bag.

Cheers, Allan

It's been the Pro-V1 for the past few years now.

I have the new Pro-V1 and Pro-V1x's and hope to have a review up in March.

Fairways and Greens.

PRO V1, reluctantly. I don't kow if I've got the swing speed for them, they're not that durable [I know, the new ones are improved], they cost an arm & a leg & I'm guesing they're not that straight off the tee ... but I'll never forget the first time I used one. The juice they had on the greens was astonishing. It's narcotic!

I've tried the B330-RX & I can't get it to spin as well. I really wanted to love that ball but it didn't quite do it for me.

My swing speed tops out about 104 mph; anyone got any ideas on a ball I'd like instead of the PRO V1?

The Wilson Zip seems to be getting alot of favorable reviews and they are priced right. I may have to try them this year.

Definately!

My favorite ball is the Callaway Tour Ix but I am playing the ZIP right now and am quite happy with it

    • Dublin Coddle (Irish Sausage and Potato Stew is my guess. I would go with haggis, but that is Scottish.
    • These are the courses that I remember, but there may be others that I’m not remembering at the moment. I broke 100 atOakland Hills one time, but what I shot otherwise will be taken to the grave with me.    Country Club of the North - Several LPGA tournaments NCR Country Club South Course - 51st PGA, 41st US Women’s Open, 05 US Senior Open (attended) TPC Michigan - Ford Senior Players Championship Valhalla - 24, 14, 2000, and 96 PGA Championships, 11, and 04 Senior PGA Championships, 08 Ryder Cup Oakland Hills - 08 PGA Championship, 04 Ryder Cup, 96, 85, 61 and other US Opens TPC Sawgrass - The Players Championship

    • For me it was combo of good drama and total last man standing collapse... But it showed me once again that "ball rollback" is nonsense...when courses are set up to punish missed fairways and greens, that's where the quality golf (or total collapse) takes place...hurting the rest of us because a relatively few can bomb it 100 yards farther is idiotic...that Young bomb on 18 was gutsy... He misses the fairway with that he likely doesn't win, at least on that hole...
    • Followed by the longest drive on 18 in the shotlink era. That is a tough shot and he stood up there and did it. Fair play to him.
