I just bought Maui Jim's Kanahas with brown tinted polarized lenses. The lady at sunglass hut said that brown tinted lenses give better depth perception.

I agree. Usually you want something with a brown tint as opposed to a grey. However, more importantly, you want something that will stay on your head when you swing.

I've got some Maui Jim sport sunglasses that are very light and stay on pretty well. However I've tried others that don't do so well.

BTW, my experience is that Maui Jim have the absolute BEST customer service in the industry. I've used them several times after beaking my old MJs and they've fixed them for free 2 YEARS after the warranty was up.

    • Long time user of the Flatso Ultra since it came out in 2013. Went to use it for the first round of the year and was dirty, so gave it a good cleaning and think I am going to need to replace it. I don't have anywhere around me that has the new varieties of the Flatso lines, but what would be the current closest in their line to the Original Flatso Ultra?

    • Yeah, that's… not gonna happen. Not any time soon. 😉 I talk quickly. And… a lot of podcast listeners listen on 1.5x or something. So, maybe they slow down the podcasts I'm on a little bit. 😄
    • I don't really agree with that. Nor that. The commonality among the game's best putters (not 100%, as I'm in that group 😄) is that they generally use lighter putters. The science is that they have more fine-grained control over the speed.
