The tour pros (Cink, Casey, others too) playing for Nike were wearing the new Dri-Fit hat with the VR logo. I noticed it a bunch because I recently purchased this hat from Nike.com. There was a caddy who wore it as well. It was interesting for me to see this because I think of Victory Red as being primarily a Tiger trademark. Red shirts on Sunday. A comparison that I considered is that of Nike Air Jordan shoes. When he was playing, Jordan had the personalized shoes with the jump man. Were other players wearing these shoes when Jordan was playing? Am I on the right track or is the VR logo on other players hat just another logo?

i agree, nike ONE could also apply to tiger because hes the nmber 1 in the world, and he only plays 1's on his golf balls. If you think about it, tiger basically is nike golf...he got them going.

It's just another logo. If other players started to wear the TW logo that he has, then that would be weird.

If I'm not mistaken many players wore Jordan shoes while he was still playing. I.E. Ray Allen. I don't think anyone else was sponsored when Jordan shoes were part of NIKE. (Now, Jordans are owned by MJ as a separate company.)

I agree that other tour players wearing the TW logo would be something, probably weird. The ads that I have seen about the new Nike clubs had me connect the idea about Victory Red with Tigers tendency to wear a red shirt in the final round. It may be a trademark of his, but I guess not off limits to other players.
