Has anyone used a very lightweight club carrier (not really a golfbag) to help in lugging an assortment of clubs from the cartpath to the far side of the fairway (where my ball always seems to be on muddy days)? If so, where did you locate it? What was the cost?

I'm envisioning a carrier holding no more than 5 clubs + or - with a shoulder strap or handle, possibly made of flexible canvas so it could be easily stowed until needed. If you've never used such a carrier, do you think it would be useful to you? Maybe there needs to be such a product. Your thoughts, please.

wow that would add an extra few minutes, having to get out the bag put all those clubs in it, then after the shot take them out and put the bag away. Pace of play would be reduced even more.

Do it the old fashioned way and use the special club carrier called "hands", cheaper and faster.

Agreed with above. This would slow the pace of play down alot. Either carry your bag or bring them with your hands.

Something like this?

i always see guys with that at the driving range, i guess its easier for them to throw their problem irons into than bring their whole bag. so they can only bring what they need to work on. I would still never use that to carry clubs from one side of the fairway to the other..

I used to play with an older gentleman who looped a "Sunday" bag over his umbrella strap to his full size golf bag. He seemed to keep his putter and chipping clubs in it. He'd grab it everytime he headed towards the green....or just grab his putter if he was on.

At least he kept his grips dry this way....no contact with the morning dew.

Now that seems like a reasonable, and good idea, use for a "Sunday Bag".

Agreed.... I never take more than 3 clubs max anyway, and I'd have to be very undecided to carry that many.

It's about as serious as this request deserves; guess at the club - take the one above and below it and rock on - if you still don't have the right club often then work on picking a better "miss" because you're in trouble too much...

No need for a Snoopy bag IMO.

    • Day 7: got out my chipping net and worked on chipping in the living room for a solid 15 minutes. Worked on mostly low shots, but mixed in a couple of high shots as well.
    • Day 228 4-4 More hip/chest turn and wrist arching. Working on hinging wrist a bit later. Foam balls.
    • Day 27 (4 Apr 26) - Worked with grandson on basic pitches/punches in the back yard with varied irons/wedges.  Wrapped up the day rolling some putts on the 30’ carpet I can set up in the yard to give varied terrain - and this carpet rolls almost too easy. A great way to figure a read and know that pace has to be near perfect to get in the hole.
    • A bit of a struggle today.  Just some thoughts/musings.  For the backswing, it is like I am never going to be moving on from this. I don't know if I can ever get to the point where the backswing isn't like over 1.5 seconds in duration. Which is probably not ideal. I would like to get to the point where I can just fling the arms back and up.  I have to feel like my hands are going to hit my right thigh from P1 to P2. If not then they like to move 2-5 inches towards the ball from P1 to P2. Then it's just bad from there. This feeling is my hands not gaining much depth, just maintaining depth from set up. From the DTL view, the hands head towards the camera.  While I am doing that, hinge the crap out of the club with my wrist only. Hinge in a way that the club is pointing at the camera at P2.  From P2, lift the hands straight up. I can get here, and still roll the club inside and get it way too shallow.  With the downswing. There isn't much here. I still can't get the flow of this or the sequencing of this to line up. It doesn't help that hinging from P1 to P2 just throws off my entire timing as well.
