Question concerning money disbursement

At each tour event how do they determine how to divide up the money among those that tie for a position? Ex. 5 golfers finish -1 and 5 people even and so on..

I wonder if they take all the prize money for each position (5 ties, 5 differrent payouts) and split it equally.

Each position gets the same percentage (based on field size or something, maybe based on the # that make the cut, but the winner gets something like 18.5% or something, right on down the line).

If five people tie for second they take 2-6th place money, add it up, and split it five ways.
