So i finally got a chance to get out and play today, even if it was on just an easy executive par 3 course. I got out to the range early because I knew I would have to at least see what was working for me and what wasn't. Right from the start I realized it was going to be a badddd day. My slice that I worked on all last season to fix came back. Because of this I've lost at least 20 yards of distance off of each club. Also the strongest part of my game, my iron play, is gone. I've lost that high, floating arc that used to be my favorite thing to see. The only good thing is that I haven't completely lost my touch with chips and putts. That actually saved me today score wise. I guess to sum up the day, it was poor play with short flashes of my old self. Looks like I have A LOT of work to do to get back to my old self. So any tips on how to get back to how I left off, faster?

"The only good thing is that I haven't completely lost my touch with chips and putts." If you haven't lost your short game over the winter then you've got a good headstart on the new season. The rest will come when you knock the rust off after a long winter's layoff. Good luck
