Maltby MTF

So I built my first set of components last month the Maltby KE4 Tours and after a few tweaks, they worked out great. The other day while surfing the golfworks.com site I impulse bought the MTFs. I had no need for them and it was just impulse.

Put a set of S300s into them and the result is one of the most gorgeous irons I have ever held. Took them to the range and beat all of the irons for two hours and they are real players clubs. Thin top line, soft feel, lower ball flight and can hit every shot. Anyone looking to spend $900 on a set of forged irons should look at a set of Maltbys and possibly Snake Eyes. Snake Eyes look just as nice but I have only hit the MTFs.

I bought a set of Maltby MTF's with Rifle shafts from Golf Galaxy for less than $300 this winter and I absolutely love them. Very attractive traditional look and nice soft forging with a lot of feel. Honestly, I looked at all of the other forged options at the store, but kept coming back to these not only for their looks, but also their forgiveness at a price that just couldn't be beat. After gaming these for the past few weeks I don't have any complaints. I like the consistent offset and traditional loft spacing. When I hit a 185 six iron I know it's not because the club is playing at 29*, like the Launcher irons or similar clubs. I really can't say enough about these clubs, especially at their price. Beretta, I wouldn't be surprised if they supplant your KE4's in short order.

Also, if you like the Maltby line, I''d suggest looking at thge M-Series wedges. Again, a great forged club with exceptional feel at a hard to beat price. Kudos, Ralph!
