Do any members here live near (within 45 minutes at least...) of The Memorial? It's in Dublin (inside Columbus, kinda) OH?

I'm interested in finding a place to stay for a few evenings so that I can cover the tournament. Just got my media credentials today (had kind of forgotten about them).

Worst case, I'll find a hotel, but would rather meet a forum member, get in some golf, etc.

BTW:

Credentials are non-transferable except among authorized representatives of the same news agency. The misuse of credentials will result in the immediate forfeiture of one’s press privileges and could risk future issuance of media credentials for the Memorial Tournament.

I wonder if I could transfer my credentials to someone to watch the tournament on Saturday and Sunday (and probably Thurs/Fri). I won't be there. Just Mon-Wed to get some pictures...

Erik,

I used to work for a local radio station in Columbus that would cover the memorial every year. It is a great course and a great tournament. Let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to help you with them

      Patrick Cantlay's strokes gained from 2024: I wonder if he takes more time on approach shots given that was the worst part of his game last season. And then here are his 2023 stats: Much better ball striking season. I wonder if there are any differences in his times between these two seasons. I tend to think he's just slow in general, but it'd be interesting to see his time differences.

      Not sure, I think players have their own pace. Speith was always slow, regardless if he was in contention or not. Well, more so when he was in contention. It might be a push there on that question.

      Without knowing the study at all, this could be more of a reflection of who is tournament ready and who isn't. If you have a quick trigger, it could mean your swing is working really well. Fidgeting, lots of rehearsals, maybe means your swing's not functioning as well as you'd like it to and you need more time to feel it all out before you hit your shot.
