will a vokey 52 degree thats obviously been used a lot and has a few scratches still do the trick? I just want something that will still perform but im not particu. thanksrly hung up on looks. Any insight would be great

the wedge should be fine, if the grooves are worn you can even regroove with a tool that cost about $20 plus shipping on ebay.

Vijay replaces his wedges every week because he practices so much. Phil sharpens his grooves often to get spin out of the rough but for us mortals the wedge should be fine with a few scratches

i have some ancient looking wedges that i just get regrooved every now and then... im just attached to them and refuse to get new ones... a few proshops will do it for pretty cheap
