I have the mizuno mx 23, my handicap is now 12.7 from a 17 Ive played them for a few years, I find that I am hittting the ball really high, dynamic gold stiff 300. Should I change the shaft, or go up to the mp57 or both any input?

My last set of irons was the 23s. Like you, my ball flight was high and my handicap was lowering. I have moved on to the Nike blades and my ball flight immediately came down.

Since you are a Mizuno guy, you might want to try the MP-67s or the very pretty MP-62s. Blades seem to have a lower ball flight.

I have played the Comp Ez from the MP33 and the comp ez are a higher ball flight but you can learn to hit the lower shot by placing the ball back in your stance and taking more club and keeping the follow through low. If you are not comfortable doing so, check out the MP line of irons. You might keep the mx for the long irons such as the 4 iron and maybe the 5 iron for a combo set.

Interesting comparison of two Mizuno clubs for two different swing speeds.

Thanks for the input Is the mp 57 a better jump, not all the way to the mp 60 or 62?

The beauty of Mizuno is that you can customize your set. If you have some diffuclty hitting the long irons, you can use the MX200 or MP52. If you hit your scoring irons really well, you can use the MP67.

I think your on the right track with the 57s. Just take a look at the 52s also.
