Full hybrid iron sets 3 - PW

Has anyone played with a full hybrid set where every club is a hybrid right down to the 9 and PW (something like the Cobra transition-s or Cleveland HiBore). I would love to know your thoughts on these types of iron sets as I am considering purchasing one.

I am going to take a few clubs out on loan this weekend to see how they feel but would like some outside input as well.

I love hybrids for long irons, but I do not like them in the shorter irons (7 iron and shorter). I have a friend with the Cleveland Hi-Bore irons and a friend with the Adams A2OS and the Hi-Bore short irons are just not verstile enough in my opinion. The Adams set is nice, though, with a good mix of traditional short irons and hybrid long irons. I think the transitions set is similar to this, but not sure (and too lazy to look it up right now ). By all means, if you are taking some demo clubs out compare hybrid short irons to traditonal short irons to see which you prefer - you may find you like the hybrids.

also, consider the big bertha irons, They have the ibird for the 4-5-6 irons, they are pretty easy to hit.

I just bought a set of the Adams A3 OS & have played them three times already, I really like them. Wouldn't hurt to try them out & see if you like them.

Thanks for all of your replies... I am going to swing a couple of sets in the store to see if I hate any of them. Those that are not eliminated I am going to take out the 3/6/9 of each set and head to the range. I will post my thouhts on each after a I have had a chance to hit all of them.

Right now I am focusing on

Adams A3OS
Cleveland HiBore
Cobra Transition-s
Nike Slingshot HL

Any others I should take a good look at
