That'd be a shame if they totally abandon the movable weights. I really like the Mizuno MP-600 implementation...nothing to buy and the wrench is easy to replace if lost (standard allen wrench). They work very well too - they won't change the ball flight by 35 yards left or right like the latest r7's, but they will take the edge off a hook or slice and I've found them to be especially useful for altering spin and trajectory. All with a really solid sound at impact and square face at address.

It's a lot of driver for $199.

I havent heard anything about Mizuno coming out with something to replace the MP-600. I think you could attribute the lower price of the MP-600 to a bad economy and the release of the MX-700.
No doubt both those factors have a lot to do with decreased sales of the MP-600, resulting in the lower prices.
$199 is a steal for that club.

Likewise, I haven't heard anything about a new MP driver. However, my review of the MX-700 will be up on the site soon. My initital reaction was simply, "Wow." It's a missile launcher. There are no movable weights, but there's always lead tape for those adjustments. More soon.
