I am playing a course tomorrow that only has a single star rating by skygolf?

What exactly does this mean? Does this mean my skycaddie will be worthless?

All of my other courses are 4 star.

answer

1-Star
A course recorded by a recreational golfer on their SkyCaddie. Typically, the only target included is the Center of Green but many also include Front and Back of Greens as well.

2-Star
A course recorded by a recreational golfer. These courses include Center of Green plus Front and Back of Greens and some fairway targets or hazards such as bunkers.
Two star SkyCourses were recorded with our original SkyGolf for PDAs. The user no longer has the ability to create a two star course.

3-Star - Professional
Using high precision survey grade equipment, each of these courses is recorded by trained professionals certified by SkyGolf. These courses include all the targets and features of a 4-Star course except SkyGolf's exclusive IntelliGreen technology.

4-Star – Professional
Using high precision survey grade equipment, each of these courses is recorded by trained professionals certified by SkyGolf. These courses include all the targets and features of a golf course such as greens, bunkers, water hazards, lay-ups and other features necessary to play the course as if you have your own caddie. Four star courses include SkyGolf’s exclusive IntelliGreen technology to provide the distance to any point on the green plus the front carry and back of the green at the same time from any angle of approach. Only Tour players have this type of information and no other rangefinder comes close to providing the advantage gained by a 4-Star SkyCourse from SkyGolf.
