Mizuno is a Japanese company, but I thought I read on here that they made their clubs in Tennessee or something.

Does anyone know?

Manufactured or assembled?

They're put together in GA, but no one is forging their clubs in the US anymore. AFAIK, all of the foundries are in Asia.

on my mizuno box, it says that the club heads are made in Japan, assembled in China, and packaged in US. Is that supposed to true, or did I just get some knock-offs?!?!

All that matters is that they are forged in japan, the other stages of production are just low skilled jobs, so they are delegated to countries where average wages are low.

A few months ago I spoke with a Mizuno rep about this subject. Here is what I was told:
The clubheads for the woods, hybrids and cast irons are cast in China. The clubheads for the forged irons and wedges are forged in Japan.
The shafts are made in the USA.
However, ALL of the clubs that Mizuno sells here in the U.S. are assembled in the U.S.
All of my Mizunos say, "MADE IN USA" on them.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

Call customer relations, give them the serial #. If they're fake it should be easy to tell when comparing to the real.

    • Day 1: 2026.01.03 Played 18 at Cape Kidnappers. Getting back into it after a few days off. Mixed results.
    • Day 40: short range session. Worked on my drill mostly. Finished with some full swings and driver swings. Range was packed because it was so nice out. Solid session though.
    • Day 5, 1/3/26.  Today was a weird day schedule-wise, but I did find 15 minutes to hit 6-iron shots (indoors, off a mat, into a net).  I also got to thinking about yesterday's round and, other than a few thin shots (that I think were weather/grip related), I didn't have any wild non-driver shots, which was weird for me.  I need to get back to video, which is tough in my setup. Also, this wouldn't count on its own, but anyone reading this and thinking about doing their own 5 minutes daily, check out Fit for Golf's latest podcast episode.  It's only a few minutes and Mike does a great job talking about the importance of doing a bit each day.  That also reminded me, I let my FFG subscription lapse, I'm going to renew it.
