Has anybody had luck with the Srixon Z-Star?

The local course had some on sale today. A dozen for 40 (Same as Dick's) So I just decided to give them a try.

I seemed to like them. I hit very well with my 6-7-8 Irons. Off the Tee was good. Had a little trouble with my 3 wood, but that was probably just me.

Great ball; impressive spin, nice and soft around the greens, competitive distance; it used to be the case that the only premium ball worth having was the pro v1/v1x but now there's three or four viable alternatives.

Well I was satisfied with the balls I think.

They felt really good. I havn't played consistently enough recently with Pro V1s, but everyone knows how awesome they are.

I had a problem with a slice a few holes today off the tee, but other than that, I was impressed and satisfied. I can give a better review of them after I play a few more rounds.
