So, I was at Golf Galaxy today and I found a preowned Hammer. the shaft is normal on the grip, but then widens out to an inch and tapers back down to the clubhead. The head is about the size of a baseball. I hit it just to hit it and it was the worst feeling thing ever and sounded like an iron almost. I couldnt believe they took it as a trade. I did put it about 347. But those simulators are a bit off ....... JK I just hit it once in a net and put it down. Literally was a hammer.

I swear Tiger should try this out. Say he shoots about 66-68 average for a round. He takes off 10 strokes for the holes in it driver, 10 strokes off for the hammer putter, 5 strokes off for the 80* wedge , and another 10 off for the "power hitting system" or w.e.. Not to mention the power ball and if he said pow after all his shots he could take off 5 more right there. With these improvements he could be shooting about 26-28 for a round:).

Hahaha, hilarious. Well done.

I've hit one once also, an older guy at the range had one and was begging me to try it. Shaft seemed whippy (maybe the "G Force" was not with me). Seemed like a big steel headed POS to me. I didn't fly it 400 yards...must have been defective?

It might just have been a defective swing.

I substituted the "POWWW!" for another one of my Jack Hamm favorites....the "POOOHHMMM!"

I hate to admit this but me and the boys watch that damn imformercial too much...better than the comedy channel. PS. I did not hear the sound of a jet taking off when I hit it either...like I said...must have been a cheap china knock off of "The Hammer"...obviously a defect, now way that baby had 1/4" of pure Zolex in it.

    • I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. Than i got myself a new putter Odyssey S2S jailbird yes i joined the centershaft family
    • First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
