What is the difference between the TP version of the burner woods and the regular versions? I know that the TP version has a slightly different loft (3W TP is 14.5* vs 15*). Other then the different loft, is there any difference? Are the TP versions harder to hit? I've hit both the TP and Regular versions off of mats at the range and didn't really feel any difference.

Bag: Corza Stand Bag
Driver: Launcher 460 Comp 9.5
Woods: Burner 3/5
Irons: TA7 Tour 4-PW
Wedges: 588 Tour Action 51*/57*Putter: Two bar blade center shaft

So if I can get the nonTP and TP at the same price would it be better to get the TP since it has a better shaft? I havent had any problems hitting the TP off of a mat, but just haven't tried it in actual play.

The TPs come with a better shafts. I believe that is the big difference.

I don't know so much that it is a better shaft, I think they are the same brand of shaft, the TP are a heavier shaft then the Non-TP.

If you draw the ball, probably but if you play a fade I would stay away from the TP as those will just encourage your fade.

Ok thanks for the advice guys!

The difference is that the TP version has a MUCH better shaft and is also 2 degrees open, have played both and brought the TP version! If i had my time again though, the TP is not worth the extra the money, IMO get the Normal Burner and then get it reshafted to the shaft that works for you.

Whats in my R7 bag:

3 Wood: Burner tp 14.5
VR Blades P-2
Wedges: 52,56,60 CG12 Putter: 2 Ball

I think the TPs also have a lower center of gravity if I'm not mistaken.

Actually I believe it is higher center of gravity, because most "tour" players would want something lower launching.

Way to contradict? You say its a way better shaft, but then to buy a normal and reshaft. That would cost much more then getting a TP in the first place.
