I have a set of the 695.MB's and have had a chance to hit them on the range a couple times now.

The good
Loved the ball flight which was a bit higher than my Mizuno Pro-II's. The ball didn’t flutter at all. The long irons were especially nice. The ball gets up high and hangs there. I don’t think I’ve ever 3 and 4 irons as nice as the 695.MB's.

The misses were better as well. I hit the ball a bit thin at first, but the ball still traveled really well. Even though it is a pure ‘forged’ club and the Pro-IIs have somewhat of a cavity, the 695.MB’s were more forgiving.

Another nice thing, they're pretty to look at.

The bad
Nothing really. I had thought that I’d hit the 695’s a bit further, but there was no difference in distance whatsoever. I didn’t have any problems with the rifle shafts coming from the S300's. The difference in weight (they are a bit heavier than my T-Zoids) was small as well and easy to get used to. The second time on the range I barely even noticed it.

I’ll probably hit them some more over the next couple weeks and use them in a few rounds. I don’t feel like it will be a huge transition to go tothe 695.MB’s from the Pro-IIs. If anything, I’m gaining because of how sweet the long irons are.

Fairways and Greens.

I have the 695CB's and love them. I have to say though, I've never seen a better looking iron than the 695MBs. Simply gorgeous. And money when you flush them.

I have both the MB's and CB's, and had considered producing a combo set, but the MB's are simply better. Period.

The CB's have the lower center of gravity, which means you can get the ball high easily, but overall the MB's have the better feel plus performance off any lie. You can simply rip out of anything.

Flight wise the MB's are slightly higher, but not by alot, but the MB's flatten out nicer.

In essence, the MB's will stay in my bag :D

    • Day 2 (20 Jan 26) - Similar work as yesterday - started with lead hand solo drills with the 50°, followed by series of pitches and chips utilizing full setup.
    • Hey, thanks for the feedback. I do lift weights but I’m also adding yoga or Pilates for mobility and flexibility to my routine.
    • Day 18: 2026.01.20 Continuing work on arm raise during backswing. Starting to feel less weird, especially the slower I go. Looking like a busy week so might be the weekend before I can hit some balls.
    • It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    • It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
