Here is my dilemna...
new course has elevated greens.
I am constantly off the green 10 yards or so...
BUT often on an uphill slope &/or going over trap...
Greens are firm with only 15 foot or so of stopping room...
if not you roll off the ofter side facing the same or longer shot...
Will a 60* wedge help?? Will the uphill slope be a problem for a 60*???
Should I forget the wedge and go to a softer, spin type ball????
If I do go to the wedge (I like buying equipment)
what bounce should I consider??? Again the uphill lies are on firm ground????
Vokey 60/6 Vokey60/8 oil can vs raw ????
Thanks.

I love my 60* and depend on it for a majority of my shots from 70yards and in. For me it is easier to varying shot by delofting the club than it is to open a 56* club up for high soft shots. I've spent countless hours practicing with my 60* do I'm fairly confident with it. Out of those, I would go with the Vokey 60/6 raw...

If you're playing on firm conditions, you want something like a low bounce so it'll dig a little and not skim off the ground causing you to blade it. Go with something in the 5 or 6 degree bounce range.

thats really good advice... I have high bounces on all my wedges because I tend to go left or right if I miss and I really try to stay away from being short in the fairway... because with the high bounce I blade a lot of shots
