I am deciding between these:

This will be the first time I buy good clubs. I am just buying a SW for right now. I know I need mid bounce, but all I have is an Orlimar Black Ice PW, and a no name 60*. Should I get a 56* or 54*. Also, which one of the above clubs creates the best spin? Or are they basically the same?

i would say that the cleveland gets the most spin but you should seriously look at the new BV wedges. every magazine is giving them amazing reviews and he has a good history. those are going to be my next wedges hopefully in time for next high school season.

I'll be able to fairly evaluate the PING Tour-W by this weekend...hopefully...depending on my friggin' left knee.

The golf shop left a message late this afternoon that my LW had arrived.

Fun stuff....new sticks.

If I'm half as happy as my father was with his new Vokeys then all is well.

i just participated in a " Wedge Shootout " (just google WEDGE SHOOTOUT and the site will come up) and the CG14's finished at the top of the list in almost every category. i was one of the 18 testers and i chose that as the best wedge overall myself. the next time i buy wedges i am going with the CG14's. these are the wedges that were tested:

Titleist - Vokey Spin Milled
Callaway - X Forged
Cleveland - CG12
Cleveland - CG14 *Winner!*
Taylormade -Z TP
Nike - VR Forged
Eidolon - V-Sole
Nickent - Arc Wedges
Bridgestone - WC Liquid Copper
Mizuno - MP R
Mizuno - MP T
Adams - Puglielli
Feel - Designer Series Dart Thrower
Wilson Staff - TW9
Hippo - HWT Forged
Srixon - WG-706

I agree with above, tried the CG14's and they are super easy to hit and stop well.

Just replaced my Vokey gap wedge with a CG14. Couldn't be happier - definitely an upgrade.

go with the cleveland. they have been a big name in wedges for a while now, always some of the best wedges. Those and the vokeys
