I have been searching for a putter for a few weeks now. Today, I went into the local Golf Galaxy and was browsing their clearance rack. I found a new, RH 35" Maxfli Crossbax 3.0 Mallet putter and gave it a try. It felt very good and hit nicely on the practice green in the store. It was originally marked $89.99 but had been marked down a few times. I got it for $12.50! It seems like a well made putter, but I'm guessing did not sell well for some reason. I figured if I didn't like it, that was a small amount to risk to why not.

No kidding, it cost me $250 to find a putter I liked!

I guess that shows how big of a range there is in how much you can spend. I have only a few bucks more than that invested in all my clubs and my bag combined.

Those maxflis are really good feeling putters. I almost picked up the blade version with the insert a week ago for that price.
