I am looking to get a new set of clubs could spend up to $600, I have been only playing for 5 months but want to get clubs that will last me years. I was going to get Cobra s9 but a few people said not to, so I am now leaning towards taylor made burner plus combo set with 3,4 hybrid I think their last years model. Would those be a better long term set over the cobras, or what do you suggest.
Thank You

I just picked up last years TM R7 draws. Had less $$$ than you to spend. Golf digest has the burner plus irons on their super game improvement hot list this year so I'd say that would be a good choice. The regular burners are on their game improvement hot list. Either set would last for years.

definitely go with either Taylormade r7's or Callaway X-22. Both are great clubs and will only run you $300-$500 on eBay from a reputable seller. They are both very forgiving clubs and will last you years and not lose much value.
