I'm looking at having a driver fitting at one of my local stores. They have a really nice setup that uses a Trackman to gather your data. You hit in a garage facility out into a range. It's really ideal. The cost for the fitting is $100 with $25 of that being refundable if you buy a driver. So cost is really about $75.

I'm curious how this compares to places near you?

$50 here whether you buy a driver or not. What driver are you looking at getting? I would also recommend hitting balls at the range with the driver (if possible) before you buy it. I used the trackman indoors into a net and went to the range to demo the same club that gave me perfect numbers inside... the results were not so perfect. ;) I went with a different shaft.

I don't have a driver in mind. I want to keep an open mind going in. The beauty of their setup is you get real ball flight with Trackman data since you're hitting at a range.

Oh I'm sorry, I misread your post. I thought you were hitting indoors in a net. In that case you should be good to go.

Titleist has the fitting cart which allows the fitter to interchange heads and shafts in about 15 seconds. I was able to try about 15 shafts in a matter of 30 minutes or so. I'd definitely recommend Titeist just for ease of trying everything. Other companies have this as well; Callaway and Nike I think.
