Would painting a driver affect it's playability

I don't mean putting flames on it or anything.... Just like a couple of lines on the crown so I can set up a little quicker/more consistent. Would this (or getting creative) affect the COR or anything?

Unless you paint the face of the club or use a lot of lead based paint, I can't imagine it could effect anything.
