If it's really that close, move it two putter blades. It'd have to be an awfully bad putt to hit a mark two putter blades out of the way - and if it's that bad, they might be happy to hit your mark as it might push it a little further back online.

If im within 5 feet and the away putter is 12-18 feet? Just hole out? I guess two blades distance is plenty even for that distance. thanks

If in doubt I will use the "leather" on my putter.
