Looks like some great discussion here...I just graduated from college and am picking up the game again now that I have some time and money. I'm shooting mid to high 80's right now and my goal is to be mid to high 70's this time next year.

I'm slowly building a respectable bag...just picked up a couple CG10 wedges (56 and 60 degree) and am probably going to buy a Callaway X460 tomorrow...I demo'd that, King Cobra's new 460, the Ping G5, and the TM R7 today. I'm probably not "sensitive" enough to pick up the subtle differences but I felt most confident over the Callaway and it is at a pretty reasonable price right now (they're throwing in a free hybrid if you buy now, this may end up on Ebay though). Will need to upgrade the irons soon -- just playing some econo Dunlop DDH's that I got quite a few years ago, they get the job done though

Anways, that's my story -- haven't had much luck finding regular playing partners here in north Bama, if you're ever in Huntsville for some reason send me a pm!
